AMP is now Supported by Google Tag Manager

October 26, 2016

More functionality is coming to AMP. Google announced on Monday that they are supporting AMP within Google Tag Manager.

This integration came about because they found that users who are new to AMP have found it difficult for tracking besides a basic page view. Google also made sure that firing new tags are easy with their built-in Tag manager triggers, including: Page View, Scroll, Timer, Visibility, and Click.

If you have any other questions, you can go to their support pages and see a full list of supported tags and information on using the built-in variables.

And if you want any more information about Google Tag Manager, we dedicated a whole podcast to Google Tag Manager! You can listen to our Google Tag Manager podcast here.
