This job ad has been posted over 31 days ago...
at Pollen in Sydney
Pollen Sydney is looking for an experienced full-time front-end developer lead to work with the technical and design teams.
You will be able to demonstrate your ability to not only translate a designers vision into reality but to also conjure up ways to enhance and ‘plus’ the vision. You’ll have a strong portfolio of work that shows you’ve worked this way in previous roles.
Your core skill set features the usual suspects — a fluent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript. But you’ll ideally also have experience with modern tools and frameworks including Less, Sass or Compass, jQuery (+Mobile), Rafael.js, Backbone.js and Node.js. If not, you should have a desire to learn about these things.
You should be able to show that your implementations degrade gracefully and that you can implement responsive design and can advise designers on best practices for designing across multiple screens.
Required
- Digital Agency experience
- Experience working with version control systems (preferably GIT)
- Javascript Language expertise + Framework experience
- Fluent HTML5 / CSS3
Desired
- Computer Science degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures and design patterns.
- Linux experience
- Involvement in Open Source projects
We love creating new things at Pollen. The work we seek to do and the people we seek to work with reflect our enthusiasm and optimism for our craft. We’re looking for someone special that feels the same and wants in. If this sounds like you, we’d love to chat.
We’re looking for Australian residents for this position.
