The VA Aid and Attendance Pension Benefit is a little-known program for veterans or their surviving spouses who meet the right criteria. The VA Aid and Attendance Pension will pay for some or all of a veteran’s home care costs. Widows receive less in the way of benefits than the veteran. Veterans must be age 65 and older, or permanently disabled.

Any home care agency, assisted living facility or other senior service provider who want to have their company on the site can sign up at http://www.helpforagingveterans.com/for-providers/

The regular fee will be $495 per year, but until Sept 28th, the fee is the Charter Membership rate is $180 for one year on the site.

Providers in all 50 states are welcome to join. There is no obligation beyond the first year to be listed on the site. The pages about each company will go live on a first come first serve basis.
