How Plumbers Can Use Social Media to GROW Their Business

Implementing a Social Media Plan for your Plumbing or HVAC Business.

There is a lot of BUZZ around “Social Media” right now, but most of the Plumbing Contractors I talk with don’t seem to get how they can leverage Social Media in their business in a way that will actually help them increase their sales & revenue. Let me help shed some light on the subject by asking you a question. What is your #1 source of business today? (PAUSE) I would be willing to bet that you probably just thought to yourself “repeat or word of mouth business”. Am I right?

Well, Social Media is the best tool around to help you get MORE repeat and referral business.

  • The average Facebook User has 135 friends.
  • Imagine if you could get your REAL customers that you service on daily basis to “LIKE” you on Facebook.
  • That would mean that every one of your customers who press “LIKE” on your company Facebook Page would be exposing your organization to their 135 friends by virtue of that “Like”. It would be almost as if they sent a note out to all of their closest friends saying “I found this great Plumber in our area. Next time you need a plumber give them a call”. MORE REFERRAL BUSINESS
  • Then take it to the next level in that by pressing “LIKE” they have given you a mechanism to remain top of mind to them because each time you post something on your Facebook Wall it will show up in their Facebook Feed. MORE REPEAT BUSINESS

Now you just need to figure out how you can setup a Social Media Strategy for your plumbing business and start getting your customers to “LIKE”, “Follow” and “Subscribe”. Doing so will be like taking your Repeat & Referral Business and putting it on steroids.
