Holler Sydney is seeking an experienced Magento developer to assist on a variety of exciting Magento projects. You will be working closely with our existing e-commerce platform team to scope and implement solutions to be deployed on an existing Magento Enterprise Edition platform.

We require a developer who has delved beyond Magento’s surface – themes and templates. You must be knowledgeable on the inner workings of the Magento functionality and comfortable extending it. You must have a passion for your craft, possess a positive attitude, and a strong attention to detail. And you will need bravery. We're attempting weird magics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to Project Managers functional questions with well researched technical options and a recommended solution

• Convert requirements and technical specifications into Magento functionality

• Support and improve our existing Magento development processes

Required Skills:

• PHP 5 with an OOP approach. Experience with Zend Framework or another PHP framework is highly beneficial

• In-depth Magento expertise and experience. Tasks will include creating custom modules, integrating web services, and supporting multiple storefronts from a single instance

• Comfortable with the Linux shell and configuring LAMP servers

• Experience with version control (SVN/Git)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
