Community Engine is creating social media and community engagement technology online.

We’re a smaller team that wants to stay small. We don’t do meetings about meetings, we don’t have to cut through red tape to drive an innovative idea forward, but we’ll hassle you to create those gems. It’s all about building great software that delights users.

We are now looking for a creative Web Designer to join the team. You will possess a diverse wealth of experience in UX design for web-based platforms. You live & breathe web application interaction design patterns and the latest solutions. You love polishing details to perfection, and the buzz of intense design sessions with a diverse team of product managers and front-end developers to bounce ideas off.

The doing part:

Working with key stakeholders to gather & develop project requirements in Agile process.

Designing and creating high end user experiences across a variety of mediums including but not limited to custom web and mobile sites & applications.

Optimising website and app user experience.

Working with Product Managers to bring new features/functionality to life.

Post development monitoring, review and ongoing enhancement based on user feedback and analytics.

Your bonus points:

At least 6 years of experience as a UX designer working on web platforms.

A thorough understanding of software development lifecycles - Agile experience would be nice

Extensive experience using design software including Photoshop.

Passion for the industry and its ever-changing standards and trends.
