Ethics Since growing up in the Texas Panhandle, and living a basic country life for many years in my early development, I know what it means to be right, and to do the right things. This applies even today in dealing with work from home businesses. Too often, we are faced with a deluge of lies, hype, scam and basic two faced propagators of everything but the truth in this industry. There are a few of us; however, that do live according to right ways, and are proud of that fact. My father taught me that there is no black and white when it comes to right. There is right, and there is wrong, and neither shall ever be replaced by anything else other than the truth. I live according to that code, and am proud that I was raised where I do not have the ability to misrepresent anything that I do, or will ever do in building a work from home business on the Internet. This may not be popular, but it works for me, and enables me to talk with real people about real possibilities. I am not here to sell you anything friend. AS a matter of fact, I am not a salesman, but simply a man who has found out the secret to building businesses on the Internet. The Internet is full of lies and liars. There is simply no other way to say it. I believe in calling it like I see it. I knew for a fact that when I started working online some seven years ago, that I would approach building a business the right way, or I would get out. It has not been, and is not easy today. People are so jaded by the lies of the work from home industry that they trust no one, and nothing. I say here here! That is a good thing. Healthy skepticism will keep you from falling prey to the millions of online hucksters out there, who are out for your hard earned dollars. Face facts. If you are going to teeter the hallowed halls of a work from home business, then you are going to have to have some very thick skin. You will have people who claim that they want to join your business, and do so, but only to find them later, skipping and jumping to the next biggest deal they can find. Its no problem for me to fly right past this type very quickly. I do not allow energy drainers in my life in any manner. I am here to assist people who wish to learn, then earn. I am not prepared to waste my time with the others. I have no feelings for people who are bitching, moaning and complaining about what they have, or do not have. I am here looking for the right people, who are desiring to make a change for the better, using the vehicle of a work from home business on the Internet. Work At Home Podcasts A podcast or non streamed webcast, is a series of digital media files (either audio or video) that are released episodically and often downloaded through web syndication. The word usurped webcast in common vernacular, due to rising popularity of the iPod and the innovation of web feeds. The mode of delivery differentiates podcasting from other means of accessing media files over the Internet, such as direct download, or streamed webcasting. A list of all the audio or video files currently associated with a given series is maintained centrally on the distributor's server as a web feed, and the listener or viewer employs special client application software known as a podcatcher that can access this web feed, check it for updates, and download any new files in the series. This process can be automated so that new files are downloaded automatically. Files are stored locally on the user's computer or other device ready for offline use, giving simple and convenient access to episodic content. Commonly used audio file formats are Ogg Vorbis and MP3. Academics at the Community, Journalism and Communication Research group at the University of Texas at Austin in the USA are proposing a four part definition of a podcast: A podcast is a digital audio or video file that is episodic, downloadable, program driven, mainly with a host and theme, and convenient, usually via an automated feed with computer software. I use TalkShoeRadio as one of my podcasting services; however, I am not impressed with the content posting ability found there. Naturally, I want to have total control over my content, links and the way that they appear in my presentations. I chose to create my own podcasting site. Obviously, there are numerous ways to approach a work at home business. Article marketing, of course, is the one that I am drawn to. I enjoy writing keyword specific articles, and watching my articles rise to the top of high traffic keywords. People find this information out on the Internet, and often times, will choose to become interactive to some degree. Posting comments is an excellent way to know that your visitors find value in your words, and the ways that you are approaching a work at home business. In my experience in dealing with many people online, the thought of building a work at home business takes priority in their lives. This tells an important story. People are searching on Google, Yahoo, MSN, WindowsLive and the other major searches, for ways to increase their earnings, while enjoying a greater sense of accomplishment by working at home. There are ways to improve this art and science of work at home success. People starting businesses should be made fully aware that just having a site is really nothing. Forwarding domains to an affiliate site is not effective. You should be prepared to build your own marketing websites, and then promote those work at home business storefronts to the world of the Internet. In my quest for serving my faithful Google readers with good information, this article deals with the process of creating a work at home business that is not only obtainable, but relatively easy to accomplish. The main rule of thumb to consider is that any work at home business is going to require work and effort to evolve and grow. Working at home is really the best way to live. When I think back about the jobs that I have had in the past, I almost shudder. Had there been an Internet around back in the earlier years, I can guarantee you that I would have never had any type of day job. I would have jumped into Google marketing, and would have developed a powerful presence very early. This way, any work at home business that I wished to pursue, I could do very well. Maybe work at home jobs are not suited for everyone. I was talking to a gentleman that has a good business concerning retail products. He desires to use the Internet to drive traffic to his shopping cart site. He informed me that using Google pay per click advertising is working well, but he is interested in learning how to approach Google from an organic search perspective. He told me that his business is demanding a huge portion of his time, but he is really interested in learning how to use the Internet to keep building his offline business. I told him frankly that if his business is doing well the way he is approaching it, why try to improve something like that? It takes time, effort, patience and dogged determination to learn how to use Google and the other search engines, to the maximum potential. I am lucky. I get to speak with an amazing amount of people in the work at home industry. I am able to discern, from their speech inflections, and their mannerisms on the phone, just how they are approaching this process called working in a home business.
