TV Online Website Coordinator

at Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Sydney

• Ultimo, Sydney

• Contract up to 11 Months

• $63,732 - $68,294 p.a. (pro rata) + Generous Super

Objective: ABC Television requires an experienced TV Online Website Coordinator to assist in the publication of television content & running social media campaigns online.

Key Accountabilities:

• Work with Online Editor to publish content on the TV Gateway using Content Management System.

• Assist Social Media Producer in running social media campaigns for TV programs.

• Moderate message boards & forums as required.

• Respond to viewer enquiries.

• Write & sub-edit copy. Source & resize images.

• Actively promote the ABC values and apply all relevant policies and guidelines including, Equity & Diversity and OH&S.;

Selection Criteria:

1. Proficient in online publishing tools.

2. Experience in social media an advantage.

3. Ability to apply the principles of ABC Online moderation with a sound knowledge of ABC Editorial Policies, Style Guide and divisional principles.

4. Good communication skills, with the ability to write or sub-edit copy as needed.

5. Excellent eye for detail and time management skills, as well as an ability to manage multiple tasks with different time frames

6. Comprehensive computer skills, with experience in Adobe Photoshop and the MS Office suite of programs.

7. An understanding of and commitment to the ABC's aims, objectives and workplace values, together with relevant policies and guidelines including Editorial Policies, Equity & Diversity and OH&S.;
