• Salary range $77,699 - $84,982 + attractive super

• Term : 6 months contract

ABC Innovation is looking for two experienced Project Managers to each lead a key Innovation Technology project from inception through to deployment.

The main focus of each role will be to project manage through to delivery a major new middleware/infrastructure initiative. Each of these initiatives will greatly underpin and enhance the ABC’s ability to provide relevant and targeted content to the audience across a range of devices.

Each Project Manager will work closely with the Project Director, Innovation, as well as the Project Owner and key stakeholders to scope, plan and deliver these key strategic projects.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Manage a high-visibility and key strategic technical project across the entire SDLC, from scoping through to deployment.

2. Assess, track and manage project scope, risks, timelines and budget.

3. Produce and manage documentation including technical and business requirements, project charter, and functional specification.

4. Produce status updates, action logs, risk management plans and other project tracking documents.

5. Manage the project team (Information Architects, Designers, Developers etc) to ensure the project has adequate and timely access to resources.

6. Work with stakeholders across the ABC to ensure business requirements are adequately captured and integrated into the build.

7. Provide support to the Project Director on existing projects within the ongoing Innovation programme of work.

8. Advocate and apply ABC values and all relevant ABC policies and procedures, including Equity & Diversity and OH&S;

Selection Criteria:

1. Demonstrated experience in managing large online and/or technology projects (4 years minimum) including production planning, requirements definition, build, integration and deployment.

2. Demonstrated ability to manage a key technology project to deadline and within budget.

3. Demonstrated experience working with a structured project management methodology. PMP or Prince2 certification would be favourable.

4. Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and ability to effectively liaise with suppliers, vendors and technical specialists.

5. Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills.

6. Excellent skills in relationship management, including excellent communication skills and capacity to negotiate, influence and deal effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders at all levels.

7. An understanding of and commitment to the ABC’s aims, objectives and workplace values, together with relevant policies and guidelines including Editorial Policies, Equity & Diversity and OH&S.;
