As part of the global News Limited group of companies working across several highly regarded brands, the Nationwide News Digital team is tasked with managing the production and content creation of the Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph online publications.

As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for working with the editorial and digital teams to create and maintain projects using web standards based markup. Work closely with the development teams to come up with creative solutions for web standards, accessibility and search engine optimisation issues that affect our publications.

To succeed in this role you will need:

* A minimum of 3 years front end development experience * Front end production skills HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, testing & development (Flash an advantage) * Proficient with Adobe Creative applications (Photoshop & Dreamweaver) * Thorough understanding of web production in a multi project, deadline driven environment * Ability to create XHTML templates for large projects/redesigns and create standard code modules for those projects * Able to balance technical complexity against client needs to find the optimal solutions considering low tech and creative alternatives
