E-Media Specialist

Job Function:

Put your Web, video and broadcast skills to work to create compelling content for fast-paced organization that represents metro Atlanta’s vibrant business community. We are a membership organization whose board and partners include the region’s top CEOs and influencers. We seek an e-media specialist with a proven track record of creating cutting-edge Web, video and broadcast communications that mobilize audiences on key economic development and policy issues – and someone who can track the impact of our e-marketing efforts. The right candidate must have solid Web, video, audio, writing and production skills, and a finger on the pulse of key trends in digital, online and social media. We need to reach members, the media and the general public on a daily basis. A background in Web marketing metrics and benchmarks is key. The right professional will help us set e-marketing benchmarks, and help us analyze which content is working, and how to use the Web to reach our target audiences most effectively. Political, journalism and/or PR background a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Keep our website 100 percent fresh and up to date.

• Recommend new ways to use the web and social media to reach our key audiences.

• Interview top CEOs and partners on video, and edit and produce the video using Final Cut Pro video editing software.

• Set benchmarks for target hit rates, open rates, click-through rates, etc., on our content.

• Measure progress through Google Analytics, Vimeo and other cutting-edge online marketing metrics tools.

• In addition to online content, write press releases, media advisories, Op-Eds, etc.

• Pitch stories to media.

Requirements (knowledge, skills & abilities):

• Excellent Web content creation and editing skills

• Proficiency in video editing software

• Cutting-edge knowledge of digital, Web and social media trends and tools

• Ability to set goals for our e-media communications and track progress using latest web metrics tools Strong interpersonal, project management, and time-management skills

• Flexibility under time requirements and changing deadlines

• College degree required

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in business or related field

• 5-10 years experience in website content, editing, video production, social media, etc.
