Believe me, I’d be the first to say there is a lot of hot air that flies around about Twitter. But it strikes me that genuinely valuable ways of using it as an organisation do appear to be emerging. There’s a collection of practical suggestions, as well as a succinct explanation of what it’s all about (ie, something you can pass on to decision makers in your organisation) over at this blog post by Web Directions speaker Diana Mounter. Diana runs the Local Government Web Network blog, supporting people who work online in local government, but a lot of the things she talks about certainly has more general application in any organisation.
