At Web Directions we always aim to reach out to as many groups within the web design and development community, to help them reach potential new audiences and members. If you are interested in our free community partners program, please or contact us.

AWDG

AWDG is for anyone who makes Websites.

Markup, style, code, typography, SEO, e-commerce, Web apps, and social networking are all valid topics here. We aim to provide a place for Web professionals to meet new people, exchange ideas, learn new things, and have a little fun. We generally have two events each month: one for learning, one for socializing.

The group features some of the best talent in the Web industry from all over the country (previous speakers include Molly Holzschlag, Dan Rubin, and Jeff Croft). You are sure to leave each event with something that you can apply in your daily work.

Atlanta Content Strategy

We focus on content strategy for websites and other interactive experiences. Our meetup is for people in the Atlanta area who sincerely care about content and want to contribute to the discipline of content strategy. Example relevant roles include content strategists, editorial strategists, writers, content managers, content developers, translators, user experience designers, metadata specialists, content marketers, and information architects

Charlotte User Experience

Charlotte UX is for anybody interested in learning more about creating a great user experience.

Join us once a month as we get together to discuss user experience design, information architecture, copywriting, analytics, usability studies, sketching and wireframing and much more. We a group of like-minded people that enjoy what we do. We keep the format pretty casual and we encourage you to bring a friend. See you there!

Atlanta iOS Developers

The Atlanta iOS Developers Group is a community group focusing on mobile application development on the iOS platform. Its open to all and is committed to growing and building a strong Atlanta presence in the global mobile information revolution.

AGDC

The Atlanta Graphic Design Collective on Meetup offers an informal, friendly, and supportive community for graphic designers across all career stages, skill levels, and media. Building on what already exists in the market through other groups and associations, our programming is a mix of events and social experiences intended to inspire members to create great work while prospering in the context of a thriving community. Membership is free with registration and event fees vary based on the event. We meet regularly on the second Wednesday of each month at Portfolio Center supplemented by special events and collaborations.

Atlanta Joomla

Meet others in your local area who want to build websites with Joomla!

Each meeting is loosely based around two presentations. They aim is to provoke conversation and encourage discussion rather than to bore people with endless Powerpoint slides.

To keep the meetings small, friendly and welcoming, attendance is capped at 15 people so please RSVP quickly.

The Raleigh-Durham Web Design Group

The Raleigh Durham Web Design & Markup Group meets frequently to discuss issues in the area of web design, standards, and tools. Open floor discussion is held to encourage members to discuss problems and make connections. We serve the needs and interests of design professionals, independent Web workers, and developers but we welcome newbies as well. The group currently has regular monthly Web Design meetings in the Raleigh area. Other weekly daytime events are planned by assistant organizers as the opportunities present.

Atlanta JavaScript Meetup Group

A group of local Javascript developers who help increase one another’s knowledge of Javascript by sharing past experiences as well as giving presentations on the latest and greatest trends and topics.
