Blogging To The Bank 3.0 Review

Posted by James in Affiliate, How To, Traffic

Blogging to the bank 3.0 by Rob Benwell launched recently. You probably got a gazillion emails about it (but not from me and I’ll tell you why).

I find the claims on the sales page to be unbelievable. $90,480 per month earnings from just a few hours work sounds a lot after you read the actual contents of this blogging guide. The information in the guide is fair but not advanced to the level where that sum seems realistic in just a few hours. I just wonder if some of that income was from product sales of the guide rather than the techniques inside them?

What does Rob Benwell cover in Blogging To The Bank 3.0 ?

After you get past the OTO in the download cart (using a microscope for the “no thanks” link) you will find a short 58 page ebook. Inside the ebook are chapters covering the following:

- Changes in money making strategy

- 5 Blogging commandments

- Market Research and Keyphrases

- Domains and hosting

- Creating your Blog

- Optimizing your Blog

- Content Ideas

- Promotion and Backlinks

- Advanced SEO techniques

- Web 2.0 strategies

- Outsourcing

- Selling your blog

It all sound impressive but…

This is a very brief overview of “what to do” not really a step-by-step how to do guide. It would take a long time and a lot of effort to get to that level of earnings with this blogging method.

Perhaps readers should be getting more than a few paragraphs about techniques and detailed pictures or video tuition. I think the guide is a little underdone. If the target market is new to intermediate marketers, they will have trouble implementing some of the suggestions without extra instructions. more pictures and tutorials would be better.

Who needs this?

This is going to help someone who wants a routine formula to follow and treats it like a process line business. This is not the emotional or personality style of blogging, this is niche blogging. It is system that relies on volume and repeating tasks. I doubt many new people will stick it through before being distracted by the next bright shiny launch etc…

The good parts

Rob does ok with describing product selection but offers no case study or proof of results. He mentions how many keyphrases to target and how many searches per month you need and where to get keywords from.

The description of setting up the blog is ok with some pictures and using C Panel fantastico. He talks about optimization but seems to skip over the detailed setup. Too basic.

Rob mentions monetization options and they are ok but again too brief in what the articles should say or the techniques he uses to pre-sell.

Sourcing content is a biggie and he mentions his methods. They will vary from some bloggers and he missed some other methods that are available for some reason.

Traffic

A blog with no traffic is a dead blog. His traffic tips are ok. A short and oversimplified list is supplied with relevant links. The section on ‘advanced seo’ is very short. Too short.

Summary

This might help someone who wants to save a few hours digging up all the information on a quality forum like the warrior forum. It is quite a short and general guide and suited to early bloggers. A seasoned blogger will be doing more things than mentioned in this book.

The main meat in the whole package is the powerpoint slide show with the older information. The information on that slideshow covers blackhat strategies and software that no longer works. Rob used to create networks of hundreds of blogs. This is a time consuming process.
