We need a Frontend User Interface Developer to work on some of Australia's largest and most trusted websites. You will be supporting the whole organisation and work together with user experience, design and backend teams.

You write valid minimal semantic HTML that reflects the document outline and choose HTML tags which reflect content type and meaning. You can write reusable code that extends and fits into an existing framework. You know which elements to add to meet accessibility guidelines.

You know about SEO best practices, the impact of semantics on SEO and how to marry them with accessibility requirements.

You have a solid hands-on experience with the jQuery Javascript framework and clearly separate Javascript from HTML. The functions you write are generic and can be reused for other projects. You consider and style non-JS states as well.

You are aware of leading edge techniques and best practices for code.

You have no problems developing cross-browser solutions and keep your cool when fixing IE issues.

When people talk to you about MooTools, jQuery, sIFR, CSS sprites, PNG24, SVN and WCAG you can join the discussion.

You are not shy to ask questions and a confident communicator who can present to and negotiate with managers, stakeholders and colleagues alike.
