Camp Quality is the children’s family cancer charity committed to bringing optimism and happiness to the lives of children and families affected by cancer through fun therapy. Our ongoing quality educational, family support, hospital and recreational programs help families face the bad days and celebrate the good ones.

The Web / Online Communications Coordinator role is part of the National Marketing Team responsible for all aspects of Camp Quality’s Strategic Marketing and Communications Plan. Reporting to the National Marketing Manager this role has the sole responsibly for our extensive Camp Quality website and significant national digital communication. Above all, you must be a people person with a genuine passion to make a difference to the lives of children and families affected by cancer.

The Web/Online Communications Coordinator responsibilities include:

• Managing, maintaining and enhancing the Camp Quality website. This includes creating dynamic content including written, visual and audio, as well as loading content from internal and external sources on a daily bases

• Project management of SEO and SEM affiliated marketing and use of social media

• Internal website CMS training and support to site users across the organisation

• Project management of EDMs including written and visual content

• Team member of our new Net Community (website database interface) project

• Creating and leading online strategy in line with the national marketing communications strategy

• Website and EDMs copywriting

• Assisting regional offices with editing content for e-newletters and local web pages

• Creating adhoc multimedia items as required (includes presentations, video, sound etc.)

• Building strong internal relationships within the organisation

• Liaising with external contacts for website content

• Working closely with our Web provider on current and new incentives

• Generating, analysing & acting on in-house and external digital statistics to maximise online effectiveness

Essential knowledge & experience:

• Proven experience in web content publishing, creating content & maintenance

• Confidence in CRM content management systems, editing tools and programs (XHTML/CSS)

• Strong technical skills and an understanding of web technologies and trends, SEO, SEM, affiliated marketing / social media

• Basic Knowledge of video editing / media presentation software/Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / Dreamweaver software

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
