Front-end design ninja

at 99designs in Melbourne

WANTED: Front-end web designer for 99designs.com!

Looking for a job where you’ll be able to exercise your different talents in graphic/interface design, usability, accessibility and standards-based HTML/CSS?

Want a role where your killer designs will be seen and appreciated by tens of thousands of other designers?

Then we have the job for you!

99designs.com is growing fast and – due to internal promotion – we are looking for a talented front-end ninja to take complete design ownership of our site, one of Australia’s most successful web startups.

As a proven web design ninja, you will have:

- Experience in designing clean, usable interfaces that stand out from the crowd

- End-to-end design skills, from sketches and wireframes to HTML/CSS integration

- An iterative approach to design, especially in an agile environment

- The ability to knock out HTML/CSS with your eyes closed

For bonus points, you will:

- Regularly read A List Apart, Zeldman.com, Smashing Magazine, Boxes and Arrows, etc

- Play foosball (or be keen to learn)

- Love coffee (we have an industrial espresso machine)

Other benefits include an active social club with monthly drinks, training sessions twice a week (if you like to keep fit) and flexible working arrangements – we don’t have a 9-to-5 attitude.

This job is based out of Melbourne, Australia, but we’d be happy to assist with relocation if your work knocks our socks off!
