10月10日（土）に名古屋の国際会議場にてWDEの代表 菊池崇 が『60分できる！実践 HTML5 & CSS3ウェブサイト』を講演いたしました。最近HTML5がやたらと話題になっている理由、CSSの実践的な使い方にフォーカスをしました。HTML5のsection要素やarticle要素の違いなどは、他所にてすばらしい記事がたくさんありますので、あえて要素の話題は避けるようにし、HTML5の歴史にフォーカスして成り立ちからHTML5を理解してもらえるようにこころがけました。

まとめ
全体として、60分でできるといっても、完全にレイアウトをつくる訳ではありませんでした。ただ、すこしでも参加してくれた方がHTML5に気軽に取り組んでもらったら嬉しいと考えています。最初から完璧なものをつくる必要はありませんので、まずは、挑戦してみよう。
