Rapid List Profit Formula – Chris Rempel Review

Posted by James in Affiliate, How To, List Building, Review, Traffic

Rapid List Profit Formula by Chris Rempel deals with list building. He reveals his methods for building a list of susbcribers that will make you ‘real money’ for years to come….

Have we heard all this before?

Like the true marketer Chris is, he has jumped quickly from review websites to search engine loopholes and now to list building. You have to laugh at how rabid the Internet Marketing landscape really is! Chris has grabbed hold of the recent trend of ‘getting more buyers’ and has launched his own version of list marketing product. And in typical fashion he has some insights that are unique and different from the other products out there. Let’s have a look at this 41 page product in detail and if it makes the cut.

What does this report cover?

First off, Chris mentions that lists are essential for business and all the other tactics are just efforts to get more customers. He draws out the fact that your list is a resource that is not dependant on Google rankings etc… This really is basic CRM (client relationship management) stuff.

With the number of people who still send traffic to sites without collecting names I guess there must still be some people who could take this onboard. You need to build a list. Your only real asset is your client list. (If you are reading this blog you will notice it is one of the core things I do here). Yes you can direct link or build websites to sell but the easiest ongoing income resource will be your list.

Chris then moves into the next part…

He discusses various aspects of list size and what that means. He and I both know that you do not need 100,000 people to do well. You do not even need 10,000. The next thing he mentions is unique. This is his technique for making you change the way you look at your list. (I use a different technique for my list). I can see how his could work. He covers the reasons why this will change the mindset using some simple comparisons.

The checklists

Chris lists 7 things you can do to make your list marketing more effective. He then further emphasizes the two things that separate a good list effort and a bad one.

This all sets the tone for Part 2

He gives you an example email to show the difference between the two styles. This is where the Frank Kern stuff comes in. You know the conversational influence mind tricks etc…. I like how Chris lists the seven reasons why someone would join a list in the first place. He shares the results of one of his early list building efforts and how he leveraged a group into more purchases.

Part 3 deals with keeping the whole thing going

This part puts the first lessons together to make a solid “formula” you can use to bring your list into a loyal buying state. There is a nice embedded affiliate letter there too. All the examples in this section promote his own products. Clever.

Part 4 is about building your list fast

This technique is no shock and I guessed it before reading the report. He shares his formula for getting multiple lead sources. The five step method is the same one I teach my students when they start out. If you have seen Chris in the Warrior forum you have already seen the first technique in action many times. He does provide templates you could grab and play with straight away. I would not overuse this method. It will be very easy to spot people doing it.

The next strategy is pretty effective, He covers a, b, c, d, e methods and I agree with them. This part is the best part of the report because it shows you leverage. New marketers can get ideas from this and build a list fairly fast.

Part 5 – Email opening and attention grabbing stuff..

The list of suggested headlines will get you started if you don’t know what to write. The ‘three things you need to be’ according to Chris are going to work for you. I don’t think Chris covers split testing quite enough. He suggests half your list but you can test a smaller portion and then roll out the best to the majority. It is more effective.

Chris offers up another example and then critiques it with highlights. He tells you why he did things so you can make your own.

Part 6 – The powerful tool for “transparency selling”

Chris makes an interesting observation about the methods used by shady operators and I think it is true. It is one easy way to spot a fake from now on.

Part 7 is about Leverage Strategies for Multiplying the results of your list

I agree with most of these just not one of them. The work inoved with one of these methods does not generally return great results. The others are good. He does cover JV’s here and also issues a warning about what to never do.

Part 8 is about Content Creation

You would be able to guess these. I was expecting a more formal survey method because I do that and it is highly effective for coming up with ideas. Chris prefers the blog post survey method.

9 – Deadly Mistakes and 10 – Recommended Resources

Number 6 is great. This will cause list retention more than any of the others. The resources are what you would expect.

Vedict:

I would not call this a revolutionary report. It is mostly common sense strategies that you should be doing anyway. It seems obvious to me that you should be building a list of clients and that you should not be flogging product every two minutes.. If you are not already building a list, then I would recommend this report for you.

There are some parts missing such as how to increase confirmation rates and how to use whitelists. He does not cover spam checking or what to do if you get a complaint etc…. I would have liked to see more non IM examples and more advanced strategies such as incentives, multiple paid list building methods, list segmentation and other list management methods. It would be nice for Chris to add some details and perhaps resources for getting e -cover graphics and doing some testing of video versus text opt-in pages, position on page and light box scripts etc…

If you are a new internet marketer this is an excellent summary of basic ideas with templates that you can learn from and use right now to build a list. If you already have a list of buyers who like you and you are being yourself then you propably already know 90% of this stuff. I am sure it will sell well. Chris puts out compelling products. Decide if you need it first.
