Web Directions Eastでは、英語圏での開催ではないのでカンファレンスでは同時通訳を用意しております。同時通訳というのは、

一般クラス 経験年数3年程度、一般的な商談・随行において、正確で適切な逐次通訳ができます。 Bクラス 経験年数5年程度、逐次通訳において専門用語を含めた正確な通訳ができます。一般的なテーマについての同時通訳はできますが、専門性の高い同時通訳はＡクラスと組んで行ないます。 Aクラス 経験年数10年以上、同時・逐次のどちらにおいても専門用語を含めた、的確で分かりやすい通訳ができます。 Ｓクラス 医薬品など特定の分野でのクラス認定となります。日英以外の通訳者はＳクラスの認定がありませんのでご了承ください。

WDE09では、この中からSクラスの通訳をえらび、さらにはIT専門の通訳を指名します。また、1ヶ月前には音声とスライドを渡し、万全の準備をおこないます。
