Web Directions East 09では、Andy Clarkeがデザイントラックのスピーカー、そしてワークショップの講師として参加されます。CSS WGのInvited Expert（その分野のエキスパートとして招聘される人）として招聘されたりと、WaSP（Web Standards Project）のメンバーとして世界にその名をしられたトップエキスパートです。
代表的な著書『Transcending CSS』は『Web デザインプロフェッショナルワークフロー』（監修：木達一仁、訳：今里了次）として、日本で発売され各所で好評を得ています。
プロフィール
イギリス在住のデザイナー。特に Web の特性を活かしたビジュアルデザインに秀でており、国内外問わず各地でセミナーやワークショップを開催しウェブデザインの教育をしています。自身のデザインコンサルタント会社『Stuff and Nonsense 』を1998年より運営しており、企業サイトから政府機関まで手がけたサイトも実に様々。2006年に Web Standard Project のリデザインを手がけた方としても知られています。
