We are currently looking for a Senior Front-end Developer to develop and maintain presentation-tier code true to design and branding across TrueLocal’s web and mobile sites with efficiency and up-to-date technology standards to ensure the widest audience reach possible.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coding to optimise screen layout, look and feel ensuring enhanced usability
• Coding to optimise SEO
• Integration of code into jsp
• Working closely with the Designer to provide active feedback on proposed designs
• Working with Marketing and internal partners to deliver adhoc collateral for website
• Extrapolating existing designs across all sections of site with consistency and elegance

• Maintain effective and constructive relationships with designers across News Digital Media to share ideas and keep up with coding standards

To be successful in this position, it is expected that you possess:

• High level of expertise in front-end production skills, hand coding (x)HTML/CSS to current web and mobile standards and optimization techniques
• Good understanding of DOM based JavaScript techniques and experience using JavaScript frameworks
• Knowledge of AJAX and Flash
• Ability to work with a wide number of stakeholders both internally and externally
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must have the capability to think and act strategically as well as deliver projects within tight timeframes

• Well organised with high attention to detail
