Community Engine is looking for an enthusiastic intelligent mid-senior Front End Web Developer who loves HTML and all things web to join their dynamic team. Initially this will be a 6 month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent.

As part of a small, but highly skilled team this role will work on a wide variety of projects in the arts and entertainment industry.

The ideal candidate will be able to hand code standards compliant xhtml and css and be completely at home with developing small to medium scale websites. You may have a degree in computer science or simply someone who loves coding and loves the web - your code will do the talking.

Mandatory Skills

- Experience creating cross-browser, standards compliant XHTML / CSS

- Knowledge of accessibility / usability issues / W3C standards

- General Photoshop skills

Beneficial Skills

- Javascript

- Experience developing mobile media
