Lateral Systems is an award winning Sydney based internet business solution provider. We are looking for a talented web developer to join our team.

A good mix of front-end (XHTML / CSS / Javascript) and back-end (ASP / ASP.NET / XSLT / SQL) skills are essential, as is a passion for usability and web standards.

The position is primarily in our support and maintenance group, and would suit someone who enjoys managing short, discreet pieces of work as opposed to long running projects. You will also need to enjoy and be good at problem solving.

Essential Skills

• XHTML / CSS adhering to published standards
• ASP.NET (C#) and Classic ASP
• XML / XSLT
• Javascript (including jQuery)
• Microsoft SQL Server, IIS
• Microsoft Visual Studio & Source Control Systems (Sourcesafe, Vault)
• Good Communication, both verbal and written

• Minimum 2 years experience

Useful Skills

• Experience with Content Management Systems
• FLASH / Action Script / FLV
• A passion for the user interface layer

• Graphic Design & Production (Photoshop)
