Internet Explorer 8 Ski Trip

Some great news just in time for the holiday season - once again Internet Explorer 8 will be supporting our ski trip - with their now legendary all day aprés ski on Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th at Breckenridge, as part of the post Web Directions ski trip.

Open only to Web Directions attendees, the trip includes return luxury coach from Denver, lift tickets (and lessons for beginners), and the all day aprés ski at a soon to be announced location seconds from one of the main lift areas. Drop in for lunch, a coffee, soda, or whatever you fancy during the day, then after you’re finished for the day, spend a relaxing few hours with food and drink on IE 8 before heading back to Denver via coach.

All this for just $120 a day. And, if you are a local, with your own transport and season pass, and attend the conference, then you are more than welcome. Just drop on in to the secret location with your conference pass.

In the current climate, a ski trip may seem a little frivolous, but on top of the fact that we are all probably working harder than ever, and could do with the odd treat, you really can’t beat a shared experience like skiing and boarding together as a networking experience. Most of our speakers come along for the trip, along with dozens of the attendees, and the opportunity to share a lift, a lesson, or a black run with your peers brings you together like nothing else.

A huge thank you to the IE 8 team for their support once more - there’ll be members of the team once more attending the conference (the folks who actually do the implementation!), and they’ll also be exhibiting at the conference. Say hi, clarify issues, tell them what you like, and what you aren’t so happy with - that’s why they are there.

Happy holidays to all our readers, and looking forward to seeing many of you in Denver in about 6 weeks.
