Boise Peer to Peer Lending

Written by Kevin Harper

Have you ever heard of peer to peer lending? I think of everything in terms of search engines, so when a friend of mine told me he was involved in peer to peer lending, I immediately went home and Googled the term.

I found that there were a few sites about it, a few blogs, and a few mentions in mainstream media articles, but nothing huge. There are just over 400,000 sites competing in Google's index for the Peer to Peer Lending term, which is the most popularly searched keyword variation. Others include:

  • Peer Lending
  • P2P Lending
  • Peer to Peer Financing
  • Peer Financing
  • Person to Person Lending
  • Etc.

Peer lending is basically individuals loaning money to individuals. It generally is a short term loan for a very specific purpose; perhaps a bridge loan to satisfy a supplier to fulfill an extraordinarily large order.

Given the situation mainstream banks are in these days, I am guessing that peer lending is a trend that will be on the upswing for quite awhile.

If you are in need of Boise Idaho peer to peer lending, or even peer financing out of the Boise area, I may be able to put you in touch with at least one source of short term funds.
