Grand Denver Hyatt

Web Directions North takes place this year at the Grand Denver Hyatt.

With the quality and amenities you can expect from a Grand Hyatt, at the very special rate of just $149 per night individual or twin share which we’ve organized with the hotel, the Grand Hyatt Denver is located in the heart of the mile high city, and is an ideal conference venue.

The conference itself takes place on the 37th Floor, and overlooks the entire Rocky Mountain Front Range.

To take advantage of the special room rate, just you can

  • call 1-800-233-1234 Hyatt Reservations and ask for the “WEBB” rate
  • Book online at this special page just for Web Directions attendees.

The Hotel is easily reached from Denver International Airport by taxi, SkyRide and airport shuttle.

Denver, Colorado

Denver is a city of science and technology, and year round, outdoor activies. Web Directions North aims to bring these all together with both 4 days of intense conference and workshops, along with an optional two days of skiing at the world class Breckenridge.

Denver also features a lively nightlife (the first permanent structure in Denver afterall was a saloon), great restaurants, and a diverse community.

And don’t forget dinosaurs. The city lies on some of the most fossil-rich land in the world.

At 5,280 feet above sea level, Denver is known as the “mile high city”. Situated at the foot of (not in!) the Rockies, the weather is surprisingly mild even in winter (average daily maximum is 47° in winter, with temperatures in the 60’s not unheard of), and with 300 days of sunshine per year, don’t let its mountain views mislead you.

As a hub city, and 4th busiest airport in the US, Denver is a non stop flight from over 140 cities in North America, with airlines such as Air Canada, America West, American Big Sky, British Airways, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Great Lakes, JetBlue, Lufthansa, Mexicana, Midwest, Northwest, Southwest, Ted, United, and US Airways.

Not quite in the middle of the continent, by air Denver is roughly two hours from the west coast and mid west, and three and a half hours from the east coast.

Breckenridge

The most popular ski resort in North America for the last several years, Breckenridge is located about 80 miles from Denver. Its large area (2,358 skiable acres), large vertical (3,398ft), and extensive variety of terrain (from beginner to expert) mean whatever skill level, or attitude to skiing or riding, you’ll have a great time.
