With the majority of our clients being top 50 Australian companies, we are looking for someone who is confident in presenting Visual Concepts and Designs to Senior Executives and Business Leaders.

Responsibilities

* Conceptualize and design user interfaces across web and mobile interfaces. * Facilitate or participate in client workshops (Brainstorming and Creative Briefs) and speak confidently with senior clients. * Write solid creative briefs to guide the design process. * Develop storyboards, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. * Work within an experienced project team (PMs, IAs and Dev) to develop intuitive User Interfaces for Web 2.0 applications. * Create visual concepts across key pages of websites, mobile and desktop applications. * Develop styleguides which can be maintained across large websites. * Produce quality design deliverables and work closely with HTML and flash developers to ensure design quality through development lifecycle. * Mentor and guide Junior Designers when assisting with your work.

Skills + Experience

Creative Skills

* Solid portfolio of work including sites which are content and function rich. (Portals, news sites, e-commerce solutions, rich media applications, mobile apps and business tools). * Warm love of a strong gred, ems and pixels. * Have an affinity for consistency, color use, typography and a keen eye for subtle details. * Have a strong understanding of latest CCS developments and how to design for efficient development. * Ability to sketch ideas and communicate those. * Print skills a bonus.

Communication Skills

* Be comfortable collaborating and sharing their design opinions and expertise with team members. * Ability to facilitate or participate in client workshops (e.g Brainstorming, Creative Briefs) and speak confidently with senior clients. * Solid understanding of the business environment and the value of design and the brand within the business context. * Proven ability to meet challenging deadlines. * Ability to listen to and take on design critique.

Experience

* 5+ yrs of visual or user interface design experience. * BA/MFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or Equivalent. * Know Adobe CS3 inside out.
