More Google GrandCentral Invites
Oct 31
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
In an older post I mentioned having some Grand Central invites. When I logged in into my account today I saw I had 6 more. If you want an invite to Google’s new service just post a comment here. I’ll send the invite to the email address you used to register.
I use this all the time. It loges all my calls, saves the voicemails and more. Plus, I can forward calls to my office or cell. It’s a great number to use instead of handing out a separate number for business, home and cell. You even get an email when you have a message and you can listen to it from the computer. It’s also great if you need to list a number online…let’s say for a resume or job posting. No one will have your actual number and you can block numbers at anytime.
Is Google PR on the way out?

I have been slammed with emails about what I think is going on and why Google has not updated the toolbar as of yet. Who’s to say Google isn’t getting ready to 86 the whole toolbar idea? What good is their from it? People buy and sell links based on PR and we know Google wants that to stop.

This is part one of the one hour long lecture given by Matt Cutts at the WordCamp 2007 conference in San Francisco, CA. I thought it offered some good basic information. Enjoy!
Google’s GrandCentral Invite
Aug 14
I finally received my invite to beta test Google’s GrandCentral. For those of you not familiar with GrandCentral it is a great service “GrandCentral provides an innovative web-based voice communications platform that helps you manage all your phones and phone numbers through one simple interface. You get a single phone number that forwards to all of your phones, giving you one number for life.”
I have a limit amount of invites left. Feel free to leave a comment here and say you need one. I’ll draw straws and pass out the few invites I have left.

Google turning the net into junk
Apr 17
I don’t usually comment on Google and what they do and how it effects us. However, I was just over at Aaron Wall’s blog and he makes a great point…
“Sure Google likes link baiting today, but that is the next paid link. Google is backing themselves into a corner, destroying each signal of quality they once trusted, until one day the web is a piece of junk or Google is no longer relevant.”
What do you think?
