Would you like to work for a new Australia-based social networking startup?

A person embodying the beauty of Jennifer Hawkins, the audience attraction and talent of Delta Goodrem and the leadership of John Eales with a little Seth Godin in the mix is needed as the Community Manager for a new Australian social network (obviously we’re not 100% serious about those traits). You’ll be expected to take the lead in community outreach, customer relations, some marketing, blogging, tweeting and building content for site users. We want a doer and thinker in the same body.

Ideally, you’ll be based in Sydney, but if you’re not, don’t let that stop you from applying.

You will be dealing a lot with other people, this isn’t a job for someone shy. For senior level applicants, we want someone who can manage a small team.

Here’s the actual skill set:

• Experience in building and managing communities
• Strong, recognisable personal brand
• The ability to spread yourself around online – Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs, etc. and keep track of it all
• Blogging and content writing

• Marketing – new-style word-of-mouth and social marketing, not old school push marketing
