Last year, Adobe became involved with Web Directions, as a key supporter. For those of your who’d been to previous conferences, I hope you felt that across the board, the quality of the conference had improved - from the venue, to the number of sessions and tracks, to the parties and receptions, and beyond.

We took a big leap of faith in 2007, choosing a venue, and format that were definitely going to increase dramatically the risks associated with the conference, but which promised to make for an even better experience.

What probably tipped us over to taking the risk (which we feel paid off wonderfully, given the responses we’ve had to the event last year from speakers, attendees, supporters, the press and more) was the support of folks like specifically Adobe. Financially it underwrote some of the big new expenses we needed to incur to make such a world class event happen, but just as the important was the recognition of such a significant, highly respected company like Adobe. To us that was really an important milestone in the growth of the conference.

Adobe are back again this year, exhibiting, as well as supporting as a key supporter - so make sure you see what they have to show you at their Expo stand. They’ll have experts across their technology range showing off cool stuff, and there for you to pick their brains.

Thanks once more to Adobe for this support. It really does make a huge different to the quality of the conference.
