As we put the finishing touches on the launch of Web Directions South 2007 due in a couple of days (I think you’ll be very excited withat what’s on offer), a couple of things over at Fairfax newspapers that will hopefully be of interest to the Web Directions community.

Brad Howarth, probably the most web savvy Aussie journo has a long article published today at the Herald and the Age about Web 2.0 in the enterprise. At his blog, he also lists Aussie “web 2.0″ companies. Many of these I was aware of, but some of them I wasn’t aware were Australian. Definitely encouraging to see. Brad’s blog is essential reading for those wanting to keep up with the web/biztechstartup scene in Australia.

Meanwhile, a swag of Aussie entrepreneurs have a new, startup focussed blog for Fairfax. Participants include Tangler’s Martin Wells and Podcast Network’s Cameron Reilly (yeah, they are both Aussie based!)
