Web Directions Government conference and workshops will be held at the Old Parliament House, Canberra.

The venue is about a 20 minute cab ride from the airport, or a 5 minute cab ride from the centre of Canberra, where most hotels are located.

Hotels and Accomodation

There are a number of hotels in walking distance as well, including

• The Hotel Kurrajong
• Rydges Capital Hill
• Park Hyatt
• Forest Inn and Apartments

The Medina Classic, and Hotel Diplomat are just a bit further away, but on the same side of the lake, and close also to restaurants, bars and so on.

Out and about

Two of Canberra’s eating out areas, with dozens of restaurants to suit all tastes, are close by in Manuka and Kingston.
