Membership SuperStar or SuperDud?

Membership Superstar is the latest "how to have your own membership site" product release. The program is a one time access membership with 26 videos produced by Marc Goldman and Shawn Casey.

These guys have a lot of experience with paying membership sites and they know what they are talking about.

The problem with membership superstar…

This product is more or less a big pitchfest for memberone software which Marc runs. In fact in the video about "how to get content" you have to wait 13 minutes until you learn one idea about how to get content! Amost the entire video is about how to use the memberone application to create a page….

It is as if you have downloaded the tutorial lessons for how to use memberone sofware rather than running a membership site. No doubt the true purpose of the low price for this product is to "front end feed" both the coaching clinic upsell and the ongoing memberone membership. They do it well and the sales letter is slick.  The sales letter borders on oversell.

Value?

If you plan to run membership sites using your own combination of membership software and forum scripts etc.. then the value is less than if you intend to sign up for the memberone application. If you missed the expensive membership site bootcamp earlier this year the it would be well worth jumping on while the $50 dollar discount is open.

Summary

Worth the price of entry. It is well organized - good quality and a great introduction to the membership site concept. The tutorials on getting affiliates and how to structure membership plans were great value. Marc is easy to understand and the videos are in order.
