What I do to find the highest quality information is when I encounter a new blogs that was recommended on a blog I trust, either in the blogroll, or better, in the blog posts themselves, I subscribe to their feed in a temporary folder. I read a few of their posts for a week before deciding if they are just mirroring what other people have said, (which isn’t always a bad thing if they point to very good discussions), or if they are actually posting high-quality information.

When I find high-quality as opposed to quantity of posts I try watch for what seo forums they are reading/posting about. This is why I unsubscribed from shoemoney; he posts too much, and most of it is below my level or geared towards the type of person who is a “me too” kind of person that tends to get suckered into marketing spiels.
