Good looking job in Vancouver

The fine folks at ElasticPath attendees of Web Drections North, are looking for a developer. Looks like an excellent job, and place to work for. Here are the details.

What we are looking for:

An interaction designer/developer with a keen sense of usability. A mix of this and design sense is key. Ultimately, a Web 2.0 super-geek who, given the time, could design and code something of similar quality to a ‘LinkedIn’ or ‘Digg’ type user experience.

What they will be responsible or involved in:

  • The user interaction of our eCommerce platform’s administrative console (browser based and currently built on the Dojo ajax framework)
  • The default reference application(s) (online retail store) we ship with our software
  • Involvement with the soon to be formed innovation team who are exploring new ways of user interaction and online retailing (because let’s face it, ecommerce sites could use major UX work)
  • The software is in use by major corporations like Random House, Xerox, and Nike so the sphere of influence is great. And Vancouver is just a great place to work.

Any leads would be appreciated and given the right circumstances, we would consider a remote employee or semi-permanent contract position, though a full-time hire is most desired.
